Discount eBook: Contemporary Women’s Fiction

Editor’s Note: THE LIFE LIST is the first novel in a trilogy that chronicles a convoluted and chaotic and real life love triangle.

Book Description:  Chrissy Anderson doesn’t want to become Bridges of Madison County’s Francesca–doomed to a life of unhappiness and unfulfillment. But like Francesca, she feels it’s her responsibility to choose the happiness of others over her own…even though she’s madly in love with the man she’s having an affair with. Not everyone will agree with Chrissy’s decisions in this novel based on a true story, but all will pause as they follow along on her journey to ask, “What would I do if I were her?”

Author Inspiration:  All of the mini-Chrissys and forsaken-Francescas out there. While “Leo” was the inspiration behind my convoluted and chaotic love story, you were the ultimate courage to tell it. I don’t want anyone to ever feel as lonely, scared, or confused as I felt during those years of my life. No matter if you’re at the beginning of an arduous relationship, or deep into one that you wish you left a long time ago, I hope I’ve made you feel sane and supported. I want you to know you have a friend. Maybe those things will be your difference between doing something and doing nothing. And if they aren’t, well no one knows why better than me.

Chrissy Anderson

It took a chance encounter with a young stranger at a bar to realize my life list was bullshit. But did I have the courage to correct the mistakes of my past? Was I strong enough to defy the wishes of everyone around me and become the woman I was meant to be?

Women of all kinds- twenty-somethings, housewives and superwomen wanna-bes- will all be able to relate to the same pressures I felt of constructing the ideal life, only to fall short. And I suspect there will be a lot of exhaling going on as those women read The Life List. I certainly don’t expect everyone to agree with my decisions, but all will pause as they follow along on my journey to ask, “What would I do if I were her?” Oh, and you’ll also laugh and cry…a lot!
