Bargain Book for Thriller Readers

Editor’s Note: PARALLAX VIEW is a traditional Cold War espionage thriller filled with non-stop action.

Book Description: It’s 1986, and the USSR is beginning to fall apart. When beautiful young CIA operative Tracie Tanner is given the assignment of delivering a hand-written message from the leader of the Soviet Union to U.S. President Ronald Reagan, she believes it will be a simple job.

She’s wrong.

Soon she is cut off from help, unsure who she can trust, and on the run, determined to complete her mission at any cost…

Author’s Inspiration: I love American history and I love thrillers. I’ve always wanted to combine the two by creating a fictional thriller hero who is a strong, independent woman – beautiful and sexy and but also capable and deadly – and then inserting her into a historical time period, such as the Cold War.

Book Description:  Apocalyptic Organ Grinder is set approximately 150
years after religious fanatics pushed mankind to the brink of extinction by
releasing the Gabriel Virus. The remnants of humanity have banded into two
distinct cultures: those who are genetic carriers of the virus but cannot be
killed by it and those who aren’t immune. To combat the threat of contagion, the non-infected send men
called Sweepers into the forests surrounding their communities. Sweepers are
trained killers, honor-bound to eliminate any carriers they encounter. When a
Sweeper named Tanner Kline crosses paths with the infectious huntress Lila, they
spiral onto a collision course with an uncertain future where their individual
destinies and the fates of their respective cultures hang in the balance.

William Todd Rose

While I actually write about many different
subjects, I’m primarily known for my work in the post-apocalyptic subgenre;
I’ve always been intrigued with these psychological and sociological impacts of
a single, shared event… in this case, the collapse of civilization as we know
it. How individuals cope with this collective tragedy would undoubtedly be as
varied as the personalities involved, so I’ve always tried to explore ideas
from varying viewpoints. As I mentioned, however, post-apoc isn’t the only
genre I work in. I’ve had a lifelong affinity for sci-fi and horror and I delve
into these themes a lot, often blending the two. When not writing, I enjoy
spending time with my wife and son, hauling out my telescopes for a bit of
backyard astronomy, and creating digital music.

From Book : Alex bristled at Hugh’s thinly veiled threat. He’d
have no problem going to another associate and giving them the assignment if
she said no. But Alex didn’t want to commit to something when she didn’t know
whether the client was engaged in illegal activity, regardless of what Hugh
said about partnership. Hugh might be willing to skirt on the edges of the law,
but she wasn’t.

Crime and Thriller Ebook for Kindle

Editor’s Note: A well-paced read with engaging, diversified
characters.

Book DescriptionJay
Goldman is a civilian research chemist at a US army chemical center. After
hacking into the center’s computer system, he learns that a maverick general in
the DIA is responsible for several murders. With his political career on the
rise, the general hunts Goldman down, resulting in an explosive confrontation
in Los Angeles.

Author’s Inspiration:  I ‘ve always been a great fan of thriller, suspense
and horror novels, and accordingly wanted to write the novel I’d always wanted
to read. I’m quite happy with the end product and, with an overactive
imagination, have a series of new novels already plotted.

From book:  Belize Cheraz and a police officer screeched to a halt
in a blue and white Baltimore Police cruiser. Its revolving roof light competed
with the blaze of the burning cars blocking Goldman’s street. A cacophony of
approaching sirens filled the air. Emergency personnel and police units would
soon claim the unattended crime scene.

Hi guys, I’ve been a fan of thriller, suspense and
horror novels (with a dash of sc-fi) since I was teenager. With so much reading
under my belt, an urge rose in me to write my own novel. A fast-paced story
laced with romance that led the reader through an intriguing maze of action and
adventure. I wanted the novel to have ongoing tension that resulted in an
explosive climax. I believe I achieved this with The Politics of Pleasure. In
any event, I’m happy with my first novel, and have had positive feedback.
My overactive imagination won’t let me rest, and I’ve started a second novel.
It will be the first in a series that involves a kick-ass female protagonist
who, with two other girls, takes on armies of all-out bad guys.

Editor’s Note:  SPLIT SENSE winds you in an emotional web of suspense that will keep you tied up until the end.

Book Description:  Split Sense follows the lives of fraternal twins – a brother and sister, each of whom has an unexplainable, seemingly supernatural, gift. Adopted separately as infants, neither knows of the other’s existence until fate brings them together to combat a complex web of deceit and subterfuge that centers around a Minneapolis pharmaceutical company conducting secret clinical drug trials on humans.

Author’s Inspiration: My idea for SPLIT SENSE came about after watching a “medical mysteries” segment about Synesthesia on a morning news show. The story of people with jumbled senses was intriguing and I took it a few steps further.

A Bestselling Legal Thriller at a Thrilling Price

Editor’s Note: Excitement and suspense run thoughout this legal thriller. It is sure to get your blood pumping and heart racing!

Book DescriptionThe Spiderman rapist is on the loose and an ambitious young Legal Aid Attorney tackles his biggest case ever-a teacher’s aide accused of molesting three of his students. Armed with a firm belief in his client’s innocence, he knocks the pegs out from under the prosecution’s case. When one of the children turns up dead, the young lawyer discovers that his client may be strangely connected to the Spiderman.

Author’s Inspiration:   As a Legal Aid Attorney in the South Bronx in 1982, I handled the grittiest of cases. These cases didn’t just include the run-of-the-mill burglaries and robberies or drug deals at a time when miles of square blocks there were leveled to rubble and burnt out buildings seemed to be everywhere. There were much more horrible crimes there. And I was…… defender of all of it.

Then a case came through the system. Headlines. No prior arrest record. Horrible crime. He could be innocent. This is why I became a lawyer- to champion for the innocent man. And so life set me up for the greatest fall ever. Years later I couldn’t shake what I had done, so I wrote it down and it became “The Good Lawyer.”

I graduated in the top 11% of my law school class. Took a job at Legal Aid in the Bronx to hone my skills for a few
years prior to entering private practice. I
started out on fire, getting more cases dismissed in Criminal Court than just
about anyone. I was cocky, a bit arrogant. I had the makings of one damn good
trial lawyer. For my age, I was convinced there was no one better. I had also
fallen in love. Didn’t think I needed to study for the bar. Then I flunked. Failing was humiliating. So
I took on the most difficult of cases intent on winning at almost any cost. And
I did win, time and again. Rapists, child molesters and drug dealers were freed,
and all my doing. Finally, I couldn’t take it any more, accolades and all. I
was a young man drowning in the conscience of my own success.

Then a case came through the system. Headlines. No prior arrest record.
Horrible crime. He could be innocent.
This is why I became a lawyer- to champion for the innocent man.
And so life set me up for the greatest fall ever. Years later I couldn’t shake
what I had done, so I wrote it down. The original title of my novel was
“The Confession.” Then Grisham came out with it. So why not
then…”The Good Lawyer.”
A fictional account–the names changed to protect the innocent. My name on the
cover remains the same.

From the Book:  Brody slammed the
cell phone back in his pocket and raced to the front door. Nausea and fear
filled him as he prayed the two bodies were not preadolescent females, like the
two unsolved murder files on his desk. The last two years like clockwork, the
body of a young girl had been found in his county. Both murders remained
unsolved because of a lack of identification, but Brody knew that each girl had
family members somewhere. Why in the hell hadn’t anyone reported them missing?

Book Description: The Gordonston Ladies
Dog Walking Club – a satirical mystery novel, with elements of dark comedy, set
in Savannah, Georgia has been hailed as “deliciously provocative”,
“a gripping page turner” and “larger than life” by
reviewers, media and readers alike. A modern comedy of manners, murder, and
small town living with larger than life characters and a plot full of twists
and surprises that keeps the reader guessing as to not only who the killer is
that lurks in the tree lined neighborhood, but who is the intended victim.

Author’s Inspiration: The quirky characters I came across while I
lived in Savannah and the premise that we are all connected to some degree.

I became an author to
share the stories I developed over a number of years. As a successful and
established comedy writer I decided to turn my attention to writing novels. I
enjoy novels with twists, red herrings and cleverly developed plots, as well as
characters that have flaws. I believe my books fill that niche.

Author’s Inspiration A newspaper reporter for 10 years, I stumbled
upon an article on crime scene cleaning and decided to write my own feature on
the subject. I was so taken by the stories I heard, I decided this had to
become a book series.

From Book: I closed my eyes
as a melody that sounded vaguely reminiscent of “Santa Claus Is Coming to
Town” came to mind.

If you’ve been shot
If you’ve been stabbed
If blood on your walls says, “Someone’s been bad.”
Trauma Care is the-e-ere for you

“Gabby?”

I quit writing advertising jingle and noticed Harold staring at me like I
needed to go to the psych ward. Sincerely hoping I hadn’t been humming a
Christmas carol out loud, I turned back to my modern art brain splatters.
