What happens when an honest man has to choose between the hangman’s noose or living a lie? MUCH ADO ABOUT MARSHALS is a witty and delightful romance that will have your heart singing!
Fans of Linda Lael Miller and Maggie Osborne will like MUCH ADO ABOUT MARSHALS.
MUCH ADO ABOUT MARSHALS came about from the author’s research about dime novels. She thought to herself wouldn’t it be a good story to a dime store owner’s daughter be obsessed over a dime store novel’s lady detective. Tom Selleck and Reese Witherspoon would make a good Cole and Daisy – don’t you think?
This is available on April 25th.
Stay calm and think. So Daisy’s sister was the woman who’d shot him. What lousy luck. He had to get the hell out of here, especially since Miss Daisy thought he was the town’s new marshal. He didn’t even know what town.
There’s nothing quite like growing up in Owyhee County, Idaho, to fuel a young girl’s imagination. Jacquie Rogers lived on a dairy farm six miles southwest of Homedale. Stories popped into her head while she fed calves, or hoed beets, or shucked corn. And so it’s only reasonable that she should end up writing western historical romance full of dashing heroes and despicable bad guys set in the Wild West, which was and always will be Owyhee County, Idaho. It’s where the Old West really happened. Much Ado About Marshals (Hearts of Owyhee #1) won the RttA Award for Best Western Historical Romance in 2012. Other books in the series: Much Ado About Madams, and Much Ado About Mavericks. Coming soon, book 4: Much Ado About Miners.

I’ve always had an interest in fairies, mermaids, vampires, and, in truth, just about any type of fantasy or myth. When stories of these beings continued to entertain my thoughts, to the point of almost haunting me, I decided it was time to start writing them down. FATEFUL was my first finished work, and FRACTUED was my second. I’ve published 5 books, and 1 cookbook. I have several other books in the plans. All of them will have elements of fantasy in them, along with a romantic twist.
Favorite Food: I love Crème Brule topped with lots of fresh berries.
Favorite Place to Write: I write in my office surrounded by artwork of fairies, much of which I painted myself
Favorite Music: I love listening to bands like Black Lab and Imagine Dragons.
Favorite TV show: At the moment, my favorite TV show is Vampire Diaries.

When characters become so real to you that you just have to tell their story, that’s the best time to get them out of your head and write your book. I began a few years ago writing down these stories, and they have taken on a life of their own. There are now seven of them, with a few more coming by the end of the year. What other profession lets you just make things up?
My favorite food is babyback ribs, but cheesecake is a close second. I write in my home office, which I can have complete quiet to let my mind run free. I listen to contemporary Christian music and some Country Western and my favorite TV show has to be Castle.

Only fifteen minutes since I’d entered the halls of Perdido High School and already the beady eye of authority was upon me. I hadn’t even done anything wrong.
“Travis!” Ms. Valenzuela called out to me from the door of the guidance office. Although she was getting old, maybe into her early forties, she hadn’t let herself go. She had great legs, which were hidden today by her lime green pants.
“Yo.” I loped over and unleashed a grin that combined sincere remorse for my failings with my irresistible charm.

A loud crack! split the air and Delilah whirled around. A sudden scent of patchouli filled her nostrils. All around her, a rosy watercolor haze washed over the landscape. A giddy bubble of fear tripped up Delilah’s spine as a spray of glitter dust drifted in the space where the woman had been. And in her place, a yellow parrot perched on the handle of the cart, staring at her from one beady black eye. Delilah hawked a reflexive cough and something small, hard, and cold fell from her mouth into her palm. “Sweet Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.” A diamond.
I am an indie-published author of both contemporary and historical sensual romance. I have been an avid reader of both genres since I was a tween. Interestingly, I never really contemplated writing one until a particular day (in November of 2006), out of pure frustration, and after having read Julie Garwood’s THE BRIDE for about the millionth time and wanting DESPERATELY to know the whole story of Mary (the sister of heroine) and Daniel (the friend of hero), that I finally thought: “I’m just going to write the story for myself, so that every time I read this book again, I’ll always know what happened to the sister.” Well, needless to say, it only took me about 5-10 minutes into the writing of it to realize I had NO idea how to write like Julie Garwood, nor WHAT Julie Garwood would do with her characters (another source of frustration, I might add—I still wish she’d write that sequel!) However, the germ of the idea was set and I ended up writing a completely different story purely springing from my frustration in not knowing the other characters’ story! As far as how long I’ve been writing, well, I’ve been keeping a journal since I was a pre-teen and in my teenage years I wrote a lot of poetry. Funnily, I always had the itch to write fiction, but when I tried sitting down to just write a short story or something, I could never keep my own interest—not until I tried my hand at romance. Then, for me, it was like reading a romance as I wrote it. I loved it, loved the process, and still do.

And last, but not least, my favorite background noise is listening to NCIS reruns on TV while I slave away on my computer writing happy snappy romance novels.
SAND DOLLAR is a heart warming romantic fantasy that is sure to have you laughing, crying and falling in love with Noah. Noah Hartman on his deathbed describes his life of love and loss, only to discover a far greater truth.
SAND DOLLAR was inspired by the author’s life after finding a sand dollar while snorkeling in the Caribbean and how it applied to his life. Who would play Noah? Channing Tatum, of course!
This is also available on Nook and Apple.
BOOM ! The precious sand dollar in Noah’s hand exploded. In what seemed like slow motion, the sand dollar disintegrated through his fingers into a thousand tiny grains of sand that evanesced into obscurity. “Because for me, the sand dollar represents life, and how fragile life really is. What was once so very precious to me, suddenly and without warning, disintegrated and vanished before my eyes. Just like the sand dollar, life holds no promises. Seemingly solid and secure in our grasp, the blessings we have in our lives today are easily shattered tomorrow. The lesson learned: never take your loved ones for granted. And if you’re ever lucky enough to find that one person in life who makes you love more than any other person could possibly make you love, you treat every day together as if it were your last. You cherish every moment.” “However, for me, this lesson came too late, for she was already gone, seemingly lost forever. And there was nothing I could do to put the pieces back together. I would spend my life wishing I could somehow travel back, back in time, to the day I first laid eyes on that precious beauty.” The precious beauty of Robin’s young face was shadowed by sadness as she nervously searched Noah’s worried eyes for reassurance.
Born and raised in New England, Sebastian Cole joined his family’s business after graduating from Brown University in the 80s. A true romantic, his life is defined by following his heart and pursuing his dreams, which is why he has become a novelist. Sebastian writes from the heart, believing in true love, love at first sight, and finding that one person in life you’re meant to be with.
His debut novel, Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love, has won numerous awards, including being a winner in the Beverly Hills Book Awards, a finalist in the ForeWord Firsts debut literary competition for first-time authors, and currently a finalist for ForeWord Reviews Book Of The Year Award. Sand Dollar was on the cover of Publishers Weekly (March 25, 2013 issue). With a rating of 4.6 stars on Amazon, the book has been getting rave reviews, many of which compare him to his favorite author, Nicholas Sparks. Whether or not he ever achieves that kind of success, touching the lives of others through my writing has been the single most gratifying thing he has ever done in his life.
A reluctant witch. A vampire kidnapper. And a demonic stalker. A wild ride you won’t forget.
SOMETHING WITCHY is a wonderful young adult romance that fans of The Morganville Vampires Series and The Soul Screamers Series will enjoy. It was inspired by a poem written by a good friend of the author’s about a love potion, and she found it both sweet and funny.

For several long, tense minutes, we just sat there. The time ticked by slowly, and I got edgier and edgier with each passing second. Leave it to me to get myself into a situation like this. He was probably sitting there wondering how I would taste—and I hoped I gave him food poisoning—and where he was going to hide the body when he was done with me. One bloody murder scene after another played out in my mind, and I became more and more terrified with each one. I was shaking hard enough that I was surprised I wasn’t rocking the entire car. Therefore, when Nathan reached over and touched my cheek, I nearly jumped out of my skin.
I started writing 8 years ago for my daughter, but now I write because I…well, because I have to write. Other than my husband and my kids, it’s my one true love. True, it cuts in on things like laundry and cooking (which I’m terrible at, anyway) but it makes me happy.
A few little things everyone should know about me…
Favorite Movie: The Count of Monte Cristo
Favorite Writing Spot: Outside. Even if it’s just on the porch, I seem to work better with a little fresh air.
Most Important Writing Tool: Headphones. I have to have music when I write. They also have the added bonus of letting everyone know I’m unavailable for conversation.
